"This is the only place I would send my child. The kids are allowed to choose from seemingly unlimited activities daily. They form their preschool lessons around the child's current interests. If the kids get interested in bugs a bug unit is presented... Mr. Mark and Miss Buffy know your kids. They can tell you things about your kids that you hadn't realized until they've pointed them out. This preschool is a wonderfully structured environment; however, they are willing to bend the structure as the kids need. The environment is clean and calm. your child is playing and learning, never sitting in front of the television. This is the BEST place to send any pre-school aged child.

GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Children attending Little School House must be three (3) by September
1st of the current school year and potty trained. Exceptions to this
date will be considered on a case-by-case basis as determined by the
management of Little School House.
REGISTRATION FEE:
$100 non-refundable and due upon enrollment. A $20 non-refundable waiting
list fee will be applied towards your registration fee in the event
that a place is not available for your child in the class. Placement
is made from this waiting list.
SUPPLY FEE:
$150 each session per year and due before the first day of attendance.
TUITION CHOICES:
Full Day Preschool M-F (7:30AM-5:30PM)
$565 per month.
Full Day Preschool M-TH (7:30AM-5:30PM)
$450 per month.
Full Day Preschool MWF (7:30AM-5:30PM)
$335 per month.
Full Day Preschool MW or TTH (7:30AM-5:30PM)
$230 per month.

SUMMER CAMP
June - August full time summer camp available.

TEACHER TO CHILD RATIO:
A low ratio of adults to children is important to us to maintain a high
quality environment. The city licensing authority alows a 1:12 ratio for
children ages 4. NAEYC accreditation standards allows a 1:10 ratio.
WE MAINTAIN A 1:6 RATIO.

FIELDTRIPS:
Field trips are a frequent event at Little School House. The opportunity
to interact with the community provides a concrete foundation for learning.
Children will be transported to and from field trips in a child restraint
seat or seat belt in our bus.
Fees for field trips and additional educational experiences such as dance
or tumble classes, music or Spanish are the responsibility of the parent
and will be given ample notice before collection.

DAYS CLOSED:
There will be a one week Christmas vacation (Dec. 23 - Jan. 03); a one
week spring vacation (March 24 - March 28); and a one week fall vacation (Nov. 19 - Nov. 23) to coincide with the Meridian Public School.
The monthly tuition fee is the same for all months. We are closed for the following 2012-2013 holidays: Labor
Day (9/2), Human Rights Day (1/20), Presidents
Day (2/17), and Memorial Day (5/26). The monthly
tuition fee does not change for months containing a holiday.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:
There is a $20 fee on all returned checks.
Any account with an outstanding balance past the 10th will need to make
arrangements for other preschool services.
There are no refunds, deductions, or allowances from the total tuition
because of any child's absence, vacation, withdrawal, or suspension except
as otherwise stated in our contract.
Two weeks notice is required for withdrawal to avoid loss of half a month's
tuition.

My son just started attending LSH and LOVES it! It's a wonderful pre-school. They take field trips and learn with a hands-on approach...highly recommended.
